Boom Labs, the developers of Glue, worked with Media Prima to develop Tonton TV Everywhere for the Malaysian OTT market. Projects included Tonton Catchup and Tonton Music, Samsung TV & Mobile. continually challenged Boom to deliver applications with a high degree of performance optimisation and usability. As a result, they built and launched a number of projects which included our TonTon mobile browser application, live streaming site, and our Samsung TV application which are all part of our TV Everywhere strategy. Off the back of the success of these projects, we got the team to develop our music streaming service TonTon music. They delivered a system that was able to dynamically ingest thousands of songs and XML metadata from multiple music labels.
